Winter White Gala 2005
F8 Fine Art Gallery is honored to host the "Winter White Gala," a benefit for the Austin Museum of Art on Saturday, November 12 from 7:30-11 pm. Step into a dreamy realm of billowy lightness, where mysterious figures gaze from every wall, light and sound flirtatiously dance, wine flows freely, floral scents linger, and tempting food beckons from every corner. International painter (and Austinite) Ray Donley, renowned for his edgy, psychological, Baroque portraits, presents his largest exhibition to date. F8 is also featuring work by fine art photographer Rosanne Olson and living art by Coby Neal of the Flower Studio. Austin's premier restaurants Jeffrey's, Mars, and Wink are cooking up something special, and Whole Foods Market is providing scrumptious desserts. Fine wine and champagne from Wiggy's is the perfect accompaniment. Don your most dazzling winter white and join us for a spectacular event. |

May Day 2005
"May Day" is an annual celebration of spring and a call for help in the fight against AIDS. Our benefactor, AIDS Services of Austin (ASA), is a non-profit organization that provides health enhancing services to Austinites with HIV/AIDS. You can visit them at www.asaustin.org. On May 14, 2005 our featured artist was Bruce Tinch, and the gallery was filled with amazing floral sculptures by Coby Neal & the Flower Studio. Delicious food was provided by Cafe Josie, Jeffrey's, Whole Foods, and Wink. And we danced to live swinging Jazz by Denia Ridley and the Marc Devine Trio. So much fun! Don't miss this annual benefit next time! |
